Field Trip and Outing
Outings and field trips are among the most exciting activities students love to engage in. They are given the opportunity to go on educational trips that relate to what has been taught in class or to gain additional knowledge beyond the classroom.
These activities are not only enjoyable but also highly enriching, as they expose students to real-life experiences and practical learning. Field trips help to reinforce classroom lessons, making learning more meaningful, engaging, and memorable for students.Athletics
Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. We also participate in inter-school, district, state and national level competitions.
Live Presentation at
broadcast station
With trained professionals on board, students are guided to present news live within the school community through the studio. They cover a wide range of topics, including international relations, national affairs, and school activities, helping them develop confidence, awareness, and strong communication skills.
In addition, students are occasionally given the opportunity to visit broadcast stations for special programs where they participate in anchoring and media activities. This exposure provides real-world experience and further prepares them for future roles in journalism, media, and public communication.
I.C.T
Students engage in lessons on Information and Communication Technology (ICT), where they learn how to use various software applications and understand basic installation processes. These lessons are designed to equip them with essential digital skills needed in today’s world.
They are introduced to different software packages, with content tailored to suit the level of their respective classes. This ensures gradual learning and helps students build confidence and competence in using technology effectively.Public Speaking
Likewise, our students are trained in public speaking to build their confidence and ability to address large audiences from an early stage. They are guided on how to speak clearly, organize their thoughts, and present themselves with confidence in formal settings.
Moreover, students are given real opportunities to practice these skills, as they actively anchor the annual graduation ceremony. This hands-on experience helps them develop strong communication abilities and prepares them for leadership roles in the future.
Entrepreneurship
Our students are given the opportunity to acquire practical, hands-on skills as part of the unique packages offered at The Read College. This initiative is designed to equip learners with valuable vocational abilities that complement their academic studies.
Through this program, students gain useful skills that promote creativity, self-reliance, and confidence. It also prepares them for future opportunities, ensuring they are not only academically sound but also practically empowered.
